Dorrie Fricano is the President and Managing Partner of Independent Brokerage Insurance Solutions. She oversees Operations, Agent Contracting, Underwriting, Case Management, and Carrier Relations. Dorrie is a founding Partner of the firm and first entered the insurance industry in 1996. Prior to joining Independent Brokerage Insurance Solutions, she held positions as a Case Manager, Administrative Assistant, Underwriting Associate, and Strategic Business Planner. Dorrie has established relationships with carrier Underwriters and prides herself on obtaining the best possible offer for each case.
Thomas J. Michaud
Principal / Vice President
Tom is a Principal Owner and Vice President for Independent Brokerage Insurance Solutions, overseeing Life, Disability, Long-Term Care, & Annuity business including product information, illustrations, marketing, and Advisor relationships. Prior to joining Independent Brokerage Insurance Solutions, Tom was National Sales Director at a premium finance bank and held Regional Vice President positions with John Hancock, Mutual of New York, Allianz, and Minnesota Life/Securian. He started his career as a Financial Advisor and has 30 years of experience interacting with clients and assisting Advisors at point-of sale.

Dan is a Pittsburgh, PA. native and South Floridian since 1985. He started his career with John Hancock in Pittsburgh before transferring to Hancock’s Palm Beach County office. Dan built his own insurance practice focusing on Families, Estate Planning, and Business Owners. He has 45 years of insurance industry experience with John Hancock, Prudential, & Independent Brokerage Insurance Solutions. Dan excels with interpersonal skills in face-to-face contact with Agents, Advisors, & Consumers.

Mario was born in New Jersey but is a true Floridian having resided in the Sunshine State for nearly 50 years. He has been assisting clients with their insurance needs since 1976. In addition to helping Agents & Advisors find the best Life, Disability, or Long-Term Care insurance plan for their clients, he can assist with Health, Medicare, Dental, Vision, and Group insurance plans. He has worked with hundreds of local businesses helping establish the right mix of affordable yet comprehensive benefits to help them attract and retain employees. Mario has decades of experience interacting with consumers and Financial Professionals helping them find the right planning solutions.
